It’s naturally gifted high strength and density create an impact-resistant, exceptionally dimensionally stable and weatherproof characteristics allow the CemPlate construction board for use as an external render carrier.

The smooth profile of the Cemplate fibre cement carrier board  provides a exemplary surface of which allows receipt render systems.

By using the CemPlate 12mm you have the additional assurance of a (more) solid foundation, when compared to the 9mm, meaning not only a stunning render finish, but also the peace of mind that it will last for years and remain crack free.

Where some manufacturers pre-prime their boards, which may seem like the best route to go down for a product. The cons of this greatly supersede the pros. Having a pre-primed board, the common misconception is this replaces the need of a tanking kit, this is completely incorrect. The priming of a pre-primed board is usually acrylic or silicone based, when using these two board aka, acrylic primer then silicone adhesive / render can cause a lesser adhesion and adverse effect.
